Sentence meaning: in contrast to the case of word meaning, the composition of the parts of the sentence must be taken into account for the sentence meaning. Sentence Meaning/Frege: the sentence meaning has a truth value for compositionality, substitutivity and the principle of diversity (one of two sentences can be true the other can be wrong). Then the truthmaker equals the circumstances - but the meaning does not equal content. ((s) Truth-makers as a third instance).
